  1. Typography Assignment:

    Due: Wed, Nov 26th, 2008

Assignment: Pick an animal; using only type create the animal in your favorite Digital Design Program (Photoshop or Fireworks). You may only use the letters in the name of the animal, so if you are making a crab you can only use C, R, A, and B. But you can use each letter as many times as you want. Keep the Elements of Art in mind; use them as well to create a stunning piece. [Line, Shape, Color, Value, Form, Texture, and Space] Other than the actual animal being type you can do whatever you want with the rest of the piece, in other words you are not limited to type with the rest.

Dimensions: I suggest 11in x 8.5in (you decide on landscape or portrait) so that it can be printed easily, but it is up to you. No matter what use a resolution of 300px/in.
