Donate to the Web Program at DHS

The faculty in the web program here at DHS (just me) passionately believe that students should be exposed to people, places, and functions outside of the classroom for the most effective learning. To make this happen and keep costs down for students we need help from people and companies in the community. This money is used to fund resources, travel, and other items specific to our Web Program (Website Dev and Advanced Web Tools courses). Otherwise, if you have a specific request for your money please let us know ( mrbrown[at]teachmetheweb[dot]org ) so we can entertain it.

Why do we need your money?

When I tell people about what is happening at our school many say, "Wow! I wish I had those classes when I was in school". You're absolutely right, how fun would that have been?, how much more knowledgeable would we all be today? how much more prepared for college or work would we have been?. We don't take your money to do fun things, to throw pizza parties, or to buy donuts. We take your money to teach web design the way it should be taught because these kids deserve it.
